PostSubject: Harry Richard   Sat 29 Jan 2011, 10:40 am

Hi everyone,

Just to let you all know that Harry Richard arrived on Sunday 23rd January weighing 7lb 11 after an emergency section. I was induced on the Saturday and got to 9cm but Harry's head got stuck so I agreed to a section.

He arrived safely, but when I was being stitched up I needed a GA as the epidural started to not work and while I was under I bled quite badly, losing over a litre in blood.

He is so worth it though and can't believe that he is finally here after everything we've been through. We are just totally in love.

Thankyou to everyone for your support and good luck to all the pregnant ladies out there!! I still can't believe I had a full term, pre e free pregnancy!!

Emma xx

Congrats Emmie! What a big boy!

Try and take what help you can to recover - I lost a lot of blood too and was very anaemic - I feel fine now (6 weeks yesterday!) but it was tough at the beginning.

Best wishes x

Hi Emmie,

Sorry to be so late to reply, the planets seem to have conspired against me this week!

Many congratulations on the safe arrival of your beautiful boy. Sorry it didnt go as smoothly as we would have all hoped for you.

I hope that you recover speedily and are enjoying your new addition!

Warm wishes
Liz
